Play for the A-Team
The Cornell Angel Capital Club partners exclusively with Angel Investment Groups, organizations composed of successful individuals who invest their personal time and capital in the startup companies that comprise their organization’s portfolio. The Angel Groups include former CEOs, COOs, CFOs, and CTOs of some of the world’s most influential and recognizable companies. We’re proud to help them with their investments.
Work with Executives
In addition to working with Angel Investment Groups, the Cornell Angel Capital Club works hand-in-hand with the Portfolio Companies of our partner Angel Investment Groups, cooperating with and assisting their senior executives as they grow their businesses and prepare for subsequent rounds of investment.
Go Beyond the Numbers
An in-depth understanding how businesses are formed, capitalized, operated, and grown is essential to success, no matter what career one may choose. That’s why our members learn how companies are built from the ground up in the most hands-on manner possible: by assisting senior executives of emerging companies as they grow their businesses and prepare for subsequent rounds of investment.
Get in on the Ground Floor
As a member of the Cornell Angel Capital Group, you’ll have the chance to be first in line for internships with the Portfolio Companies of our partner Angel Investment Groups. As an alumnus, you’ll have strong relationships with the members of our partner Angel Investment Groups and years of experience working closely with and providing high-quality work to the senior executives of high-growth Portfolio Companies. Growth means job creation. Why would executives look anywhere else to fill these positions?
We’re Recruiting New Members!
The Cornell Angel Capital Club is a society of doers, characterized by energy, excellence, and action brought to bear in furtherance of our Mission and on behalf of the companies and the people we serve.
Because Angel Investment Groups and their Portfolio Companies are almost always shorthanded, they invariably have a variety of important projects—websites, communications plans, marketing plans, product research, market research, automation plans, and more— that would improve operating performance and that involve a broad range of disciplines. Accordingly, any Cornell University student of good character who wants to do interesting and challenging work with emerging companies and who can accommodate up to ten hours of club-related work each week can find a place in the Cornell Angel Capital Club.
Apply for the opportunity to gain valuable experience and knowledge through hands-on projects, to work directly with angel investors and senior executives at Portfolio Companies, and to connect with peers with similar interests.
